Antonio Brown throws shade at JuJu Smith-Schuster on Twitter over fumble

Brown later tweeted about a picture of Smith-Schuster depicted as the Steelers most valuable player saying that the second-year player, "fumbled the whole post season in the biggest game of year".

Brown, who was traded to the Oakland Raiders last month to become the NFL's highest-paid wide receiver, had been tagged on a posted image with the header touting the 22-year-old Smith-Schuster as the Steelers' 2018 team MVP.

The unhappy exchange began, ironically enough, after Brown tweeted the following message: "Keep your emotions off the internet".

And while some of Brown's supporters have called the latest troll job a sort of check mate, many others have criticized the All-Pro WR for throwing a younger player asking for advice under the bus.

Brown's unprompted tweet referred to Smith-Schuster's critical fumble in Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints last season.

Smith-Schuster had previously defended Ben Roethlisberger, with whom Brown clearly has beef.

Whatever Brown was hoping to accomplish here, he failed.

Smith-Schuster didn't take long to reply, sending a good old-fashioned, not-so-subtle subtweet less than one hour later, mimicking Brown's message from earlier in the afternoon.

It concerned Brown, whose first snip at Smith-Schuster two weeks ago was subtle.

Smith-Schuster wanted to focus on his development on and off the field.

"I respect his game but I can't wait to smash this dude".

It's not like Brown revealed anything we didn't know about Smith-Schuster.
