The launch of EA's new battle royale game Apex Legends completely shattered the expectations of what a new release can do on Twitch, with 50% more viewership than League of Legends.

In an official EA blog post, the studio's chief Vince Zampella revealed that since the game's launch, it has raked in 25 million players and has touched a peak 2 million concurrent players in that span.

Apex Legends has only been out in the wild for a week, but the top streamers on Twitch are already getting to work on who the best players in the world are.

During its first three days, Apex Legends drew in 10 million players, 2.5 million of which were during the first day. The Apex Legends Battle Passes will bring with it a host of new content to keep the game fresh. Take-Two was off more than 4.6 percent at $89.29.

In the EU, Team Mane (Gotaga, Micalow, and Robi) came in first with 399 points (339 kills and 12 wins). There's nothing truly groundbreaking here, but it's the vast amount of little things that Apex does extremely well that makes it stand out from the rest.
