Parton was celebrated for her musical achievements and philanthropic work as MusiCares Person of the Year on Friday night.

With so many of today's biggest artists on the stage together with Dolly, one can't help but wonder: which of these talented singers will get their own tribute in 20 years?!

Meanwhile, the "9 to 5" hitmaker was honored as MusiCares Person of the Year two days before the 61st Grammy Awards.

The "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" singer rocked some fiery daisy dukes in photos posted to her social media, as the singer continues to set up her online presence ahead of the release of new music and an upcoming performance at the 2019 Grammy Awards, Sunday night.

There's a new host and a new diversity team at the 61st Grammys and while there has been a heavy focus on honoring the legends of R&B, there was an fantastic tribute to Dolly Parton who made her return to the Grammys' stage.

In her acceptance speech, she said: "I have worked with so many wonderful men". Dolly Parton's life, music, and legacy was honored by a large lineup of stars including P!nk, Norah Jones, Leon Bridges, Willie Nelson, Brandi Carlile, and Garth Brooks. Blending their vocals, Miley kept the melody while Dolly dazzled on her harmonies - but the best harmonizing came right after. It was a joyous moment, the love for Parton and her music clear on all of the singers' faces, as well as in the audience (many were spotted dancing along throughout the tribute, including Korean supergroup BTS). She captioned a photo of them on the red carpet at MusiCares with yet another lyric: "We rely on each other uh-huh".

It was another movie soundtrack song that brought the tribute to a rousing close, however, when all of the performers from the segment returned to the stage alongside Parton to knock out her 1980 Oscar-nominated hit "9 to 5".
