Kid Rock booted from leading parade after profane TV remarks

As Variety notes, Rock appeared on Fox and Friends Friday morning and talked about political correctness, before turning his attention briefly to Behar. "I would say, 'Love everybody, ' except I'd say, 'Screw that Joy Behar bitch'".

Back in the NY studio, co-host Ainsley Earhardt doubled down on Doocy's remorse. "But, aside from joking, which I was, is just go out and hash it out with people and have your thoughts and ideas but, be able to still go have a beer with somebody and just say, you know, hey, we all love this country". He will be replaced with local hero James Shaw Jr. "I wish he would practice what he preaches", she said.

Quickly after making those remarks, Nashville Mayor David Briley said he would likely not partake in the parade if Rock remained marshal. "My parade has been rained on", Rock wrote on Instagram Saturday, posing with his granddaughter. At the Waffle House in May, Shaw tackled and disarmed a shooter who had shot and killed four people and injured two others.

The Mayor's Office issued a statement Friday, reported the Associated Press, saying "if Kid Rock is still the grand marshal tomorrow, the Mayor is inclined not to participate". The host apologized on air for the language and asked Rock if he'd like to do the same, "I apologize for the language, not the sentiment", said the musician.

Behar responded hours later by welcoming Ritchie to join "The View" as a guest. Behar is a vocal critic of Donald Trump.

"Behar has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and when Myself, Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent visited The White House previous year, Behar called it "the saddest day in in the history of the White House since the British burned it to the ground in 1814".

Although Behar smiled and invited the rock star to join "this bitch and these bitches" on the show and to have a beer together, the other ladies were a bit torn. "This b-h and these b--es would be happy to have you on the show", she said.

Later on, Kid Rock also tweeted his video with Sean Penn asking for "unity" just before the election between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, which Obama eventually won.
