Huawei Mate 20 Pro Coming To India in November

The Mate20 Pro presents ultimate AI features for anyone to want, and Huawei has claimed that the Artificial Intelligence mechanisms in the device can increase system optimization. The phone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 7nm SoC with dual AI processor. It sports a Leica triple camera setup.

Indeed, the primary RGB lens is 40 megapixels, and there's an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.

Connectivity options on the Mate 20 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The leaked images show a smaller, waterdrop-style notch and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. An interesting feature of this handset is that it has a wireless charging pad that's fitted in the handset; this allows you to charge any other device that supports wireless charging. It has an IP53 rating.

The firm claims the Mate 20 X is a "better portable gaming machine", noting that the device will offer up to 6.67 hours of continuous gaming, compared to the Switch's 3.03 hours. The resolution is 2K+ at 3120 x 1440 pixels, and high color saturation, with high contrast ratio being the selling points.

As for its cameras, the Mate 20 Pro will also have three lenses on the rear. It's also rated to IP68 water and dust resistant. OnPhones has pointed out that just like the Huawei P20 Pro, the Mate Pro will be Amazon exclusive, which means it could only be purchased off Amazon India. By contrast, the Mate 20 Pro is powered by a 40MP (Wide Angle 27mm, f/1.8) shooter, a 20MP (Ultra Wide Angle 16mm, f/2.2) unit, and an 8MP (3x Telephoto 80mm, f/2.4, OIS) lens. In all honesty, the smartphone is extremely feature-rich and comes with specifications that are super advanced and futuristic. According to WinFuture, the phone may also have the 3D facial unlocking feature just like iPhone X. It features a 7.2-inch OLED display with support for the Huawei M-Pen. Other specs include a Kirin 980, 4000mAh battery, Android 9 with EMUI 9 on top, up to 6GB RAM, and a headphone jack.

The Shenzhen based company has also introduced the cooling module with a graphene film heat spreader - Huawei Supercool. The Mate 20 has a fingerprint sensor on the back, and the Mate 20 Pro has a much larger notch.

The 6.53-inch LCD screen equipped Huawei Mate 20 (4GB + 128GB configuration) will have a MSRP of EUR799 and the Huawei Mate 20 (6GB + 128GB configuration) will have a MSRP of EUR849 from 16th October, 2018. The phone has been launched in Midnight Blue and Phantom Silver colour options.

Recent speculations hint that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro could be launched soon in the Indian market. This handset will go on sale immediately as well in select European markets.
