The device comes with a 24MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP secondary sensor with 120 degree ultra wide lens and a 5MP third sensor which is capable of capturing depth during portrait shots.

The smartphone comes in three memory configurations - 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The users can further expand the storage up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. No details on pricing just yet, but it will be in the vicinity of $400.

The phone also features a 24MP selfie camera which is accompanied by its own adjustable flash. For audio output, Samsung has employed Dolby Atmos sound technology in the Galaxy A7. The phone measures 7.5mm in thickness and weighs 168 grams.

The smartphone will be up for sale in select European and Asian markets starting from October. "That's why we're excited to introduce innovative new features to the A series with the Galaxy A7, a practical but powerful device that is built to help make your everyday both convenient and extraordinary". Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ run Android 8.1 Oreo.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC.
