So here comes the Poco F1, which was launched earlier on Wednesday in India.

POCO F1 is mobilized with heightened security that lets users set a pin, add a fingerprint, and enable the face unlock component.

The POCO F1 comes with the 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with the notch on the top of the display and it is a 19:9 display having the resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels.

Both the rear and front cameras are supported by AI features for photos, such as AI Portrait, AI Beautify, and AI Scene Detection. It's the ultra fast UFS 2.1 storage, supports icro SD cards up to 256GB. The super-tough, heat-resistant material is widely used in the aviation industry, the military, and high-end cycling. Many consider this to be Xiaomi's serious attempt to capture the premium smartphone market and the specifications live up to that expectation. The device is offered in three colours, Rosso Red, Steel Blue, Graphite Black, and there are a couple of additional accessories such as official skins and back case covers that will be available online. Then there also is the special Armoured Edition that too comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and will cost INR 29,999. The phone can be purchased from Flipkart and Mi.com starting August 30. The phone will be available in three RAM/Storage models including 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

Xiaomi sub-brand has confirmed that the Poco F1 will come with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 chipset. The Xiaomi Poco F1 is the most affordable smartphone to offer a flagship Snapdragon 845 processor along with up to 256GB storage.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and Location. The notch of the phone features all the necessary components like infrared lens, infrared lighting, proximity sensor, earpiece and front camera which allows the phone to unlock even in dark. With the Poco project, Xiaomi can do whatever it likes with new smartphones in this line without necessarily disturbing the others.

Powering the device is a massive 4,000mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 charging via USB-C. Our device was running MIUI 9.6 with a custom Poco theme. The smartphone overall feels sturdy, if you are a fan of metal or glass back panel, you won't regret buying the Armored version of the Poco F1.
