It's finally here! Watch the first trailer for 'Captain Marvel'!

There's a lot to love about this new trailer, including Brie Larson's rendition of Carol Danvers as well as young Nick Fury, but there are quite a few subtle details too that some viewers may have overlooked. This Captain Marvel meets SHIELD Agent Nick Fury, aka digitally de-aged Samuel L Jackson. "I know a renegade soldier when I see one", he tells her.

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck direct Captain Marvel.

The trailer ends with Captain Marvel appearing in the classic red and blue costume. After being caught in an explosion, Carol's DNA becomes fused with that of Marv-Vell, and she becomes a superhero named Ms. Marvel. Bron-Char (Rune Temte) and Minn-Erva (Gemma Chan) get a quick background shot - flanking Danvers as members of her Starforce unit, but we also see Jude Law's Walter Lawson. The movie sees Maria and Carol having come up together in the Air Force as two of the only female pilots, and they forged a deep friendship. As for the Skrulls, they're led by Ben Mendelsohn's Talos - a bright-green baddie who uses his shape-shifting abilities to infiltrate Earth. And that's where we see the cat. Prior to that, she operated as Ms. Marvel for nearly 30 years, headlining her own solo series in the "70s and '00s as well as enjoying multiple stints as one of the Avengers" heavy-hitters. Gotta be a darn and dirty Skrull! Other familiar faces returning here are Lee Pace as Ronan and Djimon Hounsou as Korath from Guardians of the Galaxy.

The first look poster of Captain Marvel is released by the MCU and it can not get better than this.

To ring in such a momentous day, numerous MCU's inhabitants, like Chris Evans (Captain America), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), and Ming-Na Wen (Melinda May), took to Twitter in order to praise the new trailer and voice their excitement for the upcoming film.

The helmet and mask also simultaneously turns Captain Marvel's hair into a mohawk. This one covers most of her head and her hair protrudes out of the top like a mohawk.

Captain Marvel is considered one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel universe, and fans are hoping the film will answer some lingering questions from "Avengers: Infinity War".
