Google Home Mini was the most popular smart speaker in Q2

Pictures and specs published by Myspartprice.com Tuesday suggest that the device will have a 7-inch touch screen that sits mounted atop a fabric-covered speaker.

A report by MySmartPrice contains several leaked images of the Google Home Hub and screenshots of product specifications revealing key design and specifications details.

Google might unveil a device that's created to rival Amazon's screen-equipped Echo Show.

The hardware of the Home Hub is still a mystery, but we do know that the device will support 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi spectrum, have Bluetooth connectivity, and even a large speaker at the back of the display.

Starting with the design, the Google Home Hub looks like a mash-up of an Android tablet and the Google Home Max.

Additionally, Google and Amazon offer cheaper alternatives to their main smart speakers, something Apple has yet to do. Surprisingly, it looks like Google won't be including a front-facing camera for Duo calls as we've seen with other Smart Display.

With dimensions of 7.02in × 4.65in × 2.65in (178.3mm × 118.1mm × 67.3mm), the Google Home Hub is significantly more compact than Lenovo's 8-inch Smart Display (9.3in × 5.6 in × 4.38in (263.21 mm × 142.21mm × 111.36 mm)).

Again, nothing new here, but this seems in line with the current Google Home promotional images. According to a leaked product page, the device will be available in Chalk White and Charcoal. In fact, a Google executive strongly hinted at plans to launch a smart display made by Google in an interview with Variety this spring.

With Google Assistant, you'll be able to use voice commands to arm the system and check to make sure it is when you think you forgot.

In addition to these capabilities, Google has also integrated quite a few other features such as the ability to pair the device with security cameras, lights, TVs, and more.
