Meghan Markle's Half-Sister Samantha Compares Her to Cruella de Vil

Meghan Markle's Half-Sister Samantha Compares Her to Cruella de Vil

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the wedding of the prince's long-time friend Charlie van Straubenzee to videographer Daisy Jenks.

Charlie and his older brother, Thomas van Straubenzee, also reportedly served as ushers at Harry and Meghan's wedding in May. For her part, Markle opted for dark colors across the board and wore her hair down - giving off a simple (but elegant!) beauty all the while.

Anyway, we mustn't forget that it was her birthday.

And to no one's surprise, the Duchess of Sussex looked gorgeous.

The Duchess rocked a shirt-dress from Club Monaco (which you can get here) and a hat by Philip Treacy.

Less than a month after the royal wedding, they took the royal train overnight and attended a bridge opening in Cheshire. It appeared as if the top button of the duchess's dress was undone, and shortly after her arrival, she fastened the top and went about mingling with other wedding guests, all smiles on her birthday.

Samantha and Meghan haven't been in contact for years - but that hasn't stopped the Duchess's sister from weighing in on Meghan's life.

Late this summer, Meghan is expected to return to the USA on a private plane to spend time with her mother and friends.

And Kensington Palace, where Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton live, thanked fans on the birthday girl's behalf.

Thomas has pushed himself into the public eye ever since his daughter's engagement, giving high-profile interviews about Meghan and Harry.

The Royal Family also celebrated Markle's birthday with messages on Twitter. Markle was known for her humanitarian work prior to meeting Harry, serving as the global ambassador for World Vision and working with the United Nations on women's issues.
