Delhi: 11 members of a family found dead in Burari

Eleven family members have been found dead at their home in New Delhi - 10 of them hanging from the ceiling, blindfolded, with their hands bound behind their backs.

Sunday's victims included four men and seven women, including teenagers and a 75-year-old woman who was found dead on the floor. However, Delhi Joint Commissioner of Police, Rajesh Khurana, said that they were investigating all angles including murder. No suicide note has been found, Kumar said. The channel has been a "thought leader" and has pioneered several path-breaking initiatives that include CNN-News18 Indian of the Year, Real Heroes, The Citizen Journalist Show, India Positive, State of the Nation (channel's flagship bi-annual poll) to name a few.

He then rushed downstairs and called the police. Neighbours said that everything was fine in the family till Saturday evening.

"No father can kill his own son. Let's wait for their investigation to be over", Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who visited the spot, said.

According to media reports, the family migrated to the capital from the northwestern state of Rajasthan about two decades ago and police were trying to get in touch with relatives there.

While police are yet to establish any connection between the two incidents, the investigation will consider all possible aspects, a senior police officer who is handling the gang war case told Reuters. I don't think they committed suicide. There was no sign of forced entry into the house either, police said. "We can't rule out anything", he said.
