Aquaman Trailer: Watch Jason Momoa Get Wet

Warner Bros held a massive panel at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend, at the heart of which was a presentation of the studio's upcoming DC slate, under what's now being called the "Worlds of DC" banner.

The unofficial DC Extended Universe name, which was invented as an apparent joke by Entertainment Weekly reporter Keith Staskiewicz in 2015 and hung around on the Internet because it was catchy, implied that there was continuity between DC films and series.

Chris Pratt (at left next to Elizabeth Banks) did not address James Gunn's absence even though the two worked together on Guardians of the Galaxy.

Joining Momoa in this James Wan-directed film are Amber Heard as Atlantean warrior Mera, Patrick Wilson as Aquaman's villainous half-brother, Orm, and Nicole Kidman as their mom, Queen Atlanna.

Shazam! is now set for a April 5, 2019 release. Footage of The Lego Movie 2 and Wonder Woman 1984 were also screened during the event. "We're aware of some of the prices of our behavior nowadays, but we weren't then", she said, adding, "There were a lot of attractive and incredible things about the 1980s, too, at the same time".

When asked why the movie jumped so far into the future from the last one, Jenkins was more open. "We see Wonder Woman in a period of time that is us at our most extreme. We thought it could go on forever, everything we were doing right then".

After teasing the costume, Warner Bros. finally showed off the trailer for Shazam! With his larger-than-life personality and dry humour, Jason Momoa's character was one of the best things about the film. But Jason Momoa's Aquaman seems to be going away from the "failed" formula.

"They look like leather trousers, but they're not". The event like every year saw the release of over a dozen teasers, trailers, sneak peeks and whatnot.

The first look into the aquatic of Atlantis featured dreamy sequences of Atlantis and presented various characters of Aquaman's plot too.

Factor in numerous other projects, and the latest DC Comics films look like the result of actual proper planning instead of a brisk cash-grab of random ideas being thrown at a wall.

If it's not superheroes and wizards, it's skyscraper-sized lizards, and a trailer from "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" drew loud gasps from the Comic-Conners. However, that criticism is about to change in the form of a 14-year old boy turning into a superhero.
