She also flawlessly utilized the "woman gesturing not ok" (lol) emoji, mimicking her characters signature pose.

And on Sunday Gal Gadot, 33, shared the first snaps of herself in character in Wonder Woman 1984.

And now things are hotting up even further, as leading lady Gal Gadot revealed what appears to be a glimpse of her fresh costume for the upcoming 2019 sequel. The release of photos from the set is the complete opposite of what Marvel Studios does when production begins on one of their projects and it's refreshing.

Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins also returns for the sequel, which picks up with the titular superhero in the 1980s, when she faces an all new enemy - The Cheetah. Diana Prince has been bedazzled. However, with Wonder Woman 1984 set for a November 2019 releasee and the Pascal twist presumably a big part of the movie, expect the wild speculation on who this mysterious god could be to continue.

It's a comeback story that's fueled all sorts of conspiracy theories online, as curious DC fans attempt to solve the riddle: just how is Steve Trevor alive and well during the events of Wonder Woman 1984? All of the new views from the set show off the 1980s aesthetic in a major way, though the fanny pack was more of a late 80s and early 90s accessory.

Okay, so there's not much to glean from that - her costume isn't noticeably different than it was in other films, at least not in a way that I'm immediately seeing.

Obviously, the rumours come with the usual caveat - take them with a pinch of salt - but both do fit the logic already established by the first Wonder Woman movie and both would actually be positive developments for the plot.
