Meghan Markle Chooses Givenchy Again for First Solo Royal Engagement

With the Queen's comfort of utmost importance, the train operator even ensures the train doesn't go over any bumps in the track around 7.30am, to avoid the Queen's bath water splashing out.

It's coming up to a month since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a attractive spring ceremony in Windsor.

Less than a month on the new job, Meghan is still getting the hang of royal protocol.

First off, the Duchess of Sussex broke the style rules a little bit with a chic pale pink Carolina Herrera dress, while everyone else wore blue.

During the visit to the bridge, the royals met architects, planners and community representatives and watched a performance from local schoolchildren before Her Majesty unveiled a plaque to mark the opening.

The Queen was joined by Meghan to officially open the Mersey Gateway Bridge and Chester's Storyhouse Theatre.

And on Thursday, the new Duchess of Sussex had nothing but nice things to say about her marriage and her love, whom she described as the "best husband ever".

"In the main floor at @Storyhouselive, The Queen and The Duchess of Sussex sit to view a performance of 'Drop in the Ocean.' #RoyalVisitCheshire", Kensington Palace tweeted.

"Usually the auto would draw up curbside for the monarch to step out and be escorted, with whoever was with her getting out of the other side and going around the vehicle", said The English Manner Chief Executive Alexandra Messervy. Meghan took the opportunity to gush about how much she was enjoying her new life with her husband Prince Harry.

Meghan, 36, looked stunning in a fitted ivory cape dress from Givenchy with a black belt and black stiletto heels.

Delicate silver jewellery and black accessories rounded off an outfit many women will be quick to copy.

"She looked positively girlish".

While yesterday may have been a crash course from the Queen in public engagements, one element Meghan's certainly got right already is her occasion-wear wardrobe.
